29mm Sterling and Copper “Crossed Bars” Pendant
with New Mexico Black Jet, Garnet and Sterling
This graceful piece showcases a 29mm Sterling and Copper Pendant by Metalsmith Jim Daggett. The Pendant is two-sided, with one side displaying Sterling Silver Strips overlaid on Copper in a crisscross pattern, and the second side displaying horizontal Sterling Strips on Copper. The Sterling on both sides of the Pendant has been stamped with intricate patterns. We’ve paired the Pendant with New Mexico Jet Graduated Ovals, which are opaque black with a soft luster. The Jet is interspersed with cognac-colored Hessonite Garnet, stamped Copper Rondelles, and wrapped Sterling Silver Cylinder Beads. The overall effect is both striking and elegant. The Necklace is finished with a triangular-shaped Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp. The piece weighs 66 grams and is 21 inches long. The Pendant is 29mm in diameter, or approximatley 1-18”.
