44 mm Sterling & Copper “Moons and Circles” Pendant Necklace with Hessonite Garnet, Handcrafted Beads, Czech Glass, Copper & Sterling
This spectacular Necklace showcases a striking Handcrafted 44 mm Sterling & Copper Pendant by York, ME artist Jim Daggett. The Pendant is 2-sided, with each side displaying a traditional Navajo design. One side has a Hammered Sterling applied over a Copper Underlayer with a Cut-Out of Three Interlinked Crescent Moons; the second side has Two Interlinked Sterling Circles displayed on a Hammered Copper Underlayer. The Pendant is displayed with Two Strands of Hand-cut and Tumbled Hessonite Garnet -- a beautiful Cognac-colored Stone with attractive inclusions -- and Four 19 mm Handcrafted Copper and Sterling Beads. The Garnet is interspersed with Czech Faceted Rounds, Vintage Glass, Sterling Silver Rondelles, and Sterling and Copper Rounds, providing a wonderful interplay of color, light and texture. The Necklace is finished with a Hammered Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Sterling Kokopelli Charm, a Native American icon that embodies the American Southwest. The piece weighs 191 grams and is 23-1/2 inches long. The pendant is 44 mm in diameter, or approximately 1-3/4 inches.
