Turquoise and Sterling Silver Cross Pendant Necklace
with Blue Gem Chip (NV), Czech Glass & Sterling

This classy Necklace showcases a Navajo-made Sterling Silver Cross with a vibrant Blue Turquoise Oval Stone.  The back of the Cross bears the mark “Sterling,” as well as an Inuksuk* (or Inukshuk), which is a symbol of survival first used by the Intuit people and later by the Navajo and other Native Americans. We’ve paired the Pendant with Graduated Rounds of Blue Gem Turquoise (NV), formed from Blue Gem Chips that have been adhered together with resin, then shaped and polished.  The Blue Gem Rounds are integrated with Turquoise Chip, Moss-Green Czech Luster Glass, and 8 to 11 mm Sterling Silver Rounds. The Necklace is finished with a Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Sterling Silver Gecko Charm, a lizard native to the US Southwest that symbolizes self-preservation and re-growth.  The Necklace weighs 114 grams and is 21 inches long.  The Pendant is 2-5/8” tall by 1-5/8” wide including a 3/8” bail.

* The traditional meaning of the inukshuk is "Someone was here" or "You are on the right path." Inukshuk forms are one of the oldest forms known to mankind. The ancient Inukshuk was a stone sculptural form built from rocks that we believe basically left a message that we where here. If you look at the Inukshuk you will note that it is in the likeness of a human. Today The Inukshuk Message is, " Everyone can make a difference." Inukshuks symbolize awareness of our obligation to ourselves, our environment and future generations. Source:  www.indianvillagemall.com
