Wild Horse Magnesite & Sterling Pendant with Bruneau Jasper, Coin Silver & Sterling Silver
Wild Horse is the name for a new type of Magnesite recently discovered near Globe, Arizona. It was named Wild Horse based on its “Pinto Pony” appearance. This beautiful Stone -- Reddish Brown with White & Gold Markings -- has been set in a Pendant designed by Santa Fe artisan David Umpleby. The Pendant has fine Rope Detail and a Hammered Bail, which can be opened from the back. It has a full Sterling Back and is stamped “Sterling, Made in Santa Fe”, with the artist’s initials: DEU. We’ve combined the Pendant with striking Bruneau Jasper Ovals, Deep Reddish-Brown Stones with Gold & Black Swirl Patterns and a Porcelain-like finish. Gold-Tinted Seed Beads have been woven among the Stones, adding elegance and sparkle. The Stones are set off by eight 15 mm Handmade Coin Silver Rondelles, Sterling Bicones, and Sterling End Caps. The Necklace is finished with a Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Sterling Kokopelli Charm, a Native American icon that symbolizes the American Southwest. It weighs 110.6 grams, and is 20-1/2” long. The Pendant is 2-3/4” l. x 1-3/8” w. including a 3/4” bail.
