dZi Etched Agate and Amber Nugget Necklace with
Crackled Quartz, Olive Wood, Czech Glass & Sterling
dZi Stones (pronounced "zee") originated between 2000 BC and 1000 BC in ancient Tibet and were considered to provide positive, spiritual benefit. The Stones were handcrafted using Agate as the base stone, and then decorated with lines and circles using ancient etching and coloring methods. Due to demand, the first high-quality collectible replica dZi Stones came out of Tibet in the 1990’s, including our Tibetan dZi Etched Agate. The Stones are beautifully made and have intricate carved patterns in shades of Black, Red and Gold. We’ve combined the dZi Beads with Four Strands of Reddish-Brown Amber Nuggets, and interspersed these Stones with Olive Wood, Crackled Quartz, Czech Glass, Sterling Rounds, and Sterling Feather Charms. At the front of the Necklace is a 12 by 38 mm Ornate Sterling Silver Tube Bead, and Two 14 mm Sterling Rounds. The Necklace is finished with Sterling “Bead Cones” and a Sterling S-Clasp. The piece weighs 73 grams and is 23 inches long.
