Peanut Wood and Sterling Silver Oval Pendant Necklace
with Vintage Black Amber, Glass Pearls & Sterling

This striking Necklace showcases a Peanut Wood** and Sterling Silver Pendant by Metalsmith Jim Daggett.  The Peanut Wood -- a fossil wood formed millions of year ago -- has a beautiful interplay of Near-Black and Ivory. It is encased in a Sterling Pendant with raised Sterling bezel encircled with Twisted Sterling Rope. The Pendant has decorative V-notches at seven points around the circumference. It has a custom stamped Bail, and full Sterling back affixed with the artist’s hallmark and “Sterling.”  We’ve matched the Pendant with two strands of Vintage Black Amber Coin Beads, which are slightly translucent and have a wonderful aged luster.  The Amber is highlighted by 9mm Oxidized Sterling Ornate Squares, 16mm Sterling Discs, Vintage Glass Pearls, and Mother of Pearl Chip.  Together the Stones and Sterling mirror the tones of the Pendant. The two strands of Black Amber transition to a single strand of Glass Pearls.  The Necklace is finished with 18 x 8mm Stamped Sterling Cones and a 3-inch Sterling Link Extender Chain and Hook.  The piece weighs 126 grams and is 19-to-22 inches long with Extender Chain. The Pendant is 2-1/2 inches tall by 1-5/8 inches wide including a ˝-inch Bail
