Pilot Mountain Turquoise 2-Strand Petal Necklace with Swarovski Crystal & Sterling Silver
This graceful Necklace showcases striking Turquoise from the PIlot Mountain Mine in northern Nevada, first mined around 1930. The mine is owned today by the Nevada Turquoise Company; it produces Turquoise that is valued for its deep Blue-Green color and attractive Matrix patterns, most often in Golden Brown. The Necklace is comprised of two strands of Turquoise “Petals” ranging in length from 16 to 24 mm; the Petals are spaced by 2 mm Bronze Glass Beads, adding color and sparkle. The Turquoise is highlighted by Topaz-colored Swarovski Crystal Bicones, Silver Leaf Dangles, and Sterling Silver Ridged Bicones. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Cones and Toggle Clasp, and adorned with a Sterling Silver Gecko, a lizard native to the Southwestern US that symbolizes self-preservation and re-growth. It weighs 133.2 grams and is 19 inches long.
