Sterling Silver Stamped Cross Pendant Necklace with
Czech Luster Glass, Fire Polish “Agua Picasso” & Sterling
This delightful piece features a Sterling Silver Cross Pendant by Navajo artist Running Bear. The Pendant has been embellished with intricate markings and is stamped on the back with the artist’s hallmark -- “RB” placed inside a Bear graphic, and “925.” We’ve paired the Pendant with faceted Moss-tinted Czech Luster Glass and Czech Fire Polish Glass in Agua Picasso. The Luster Glass is translucent with an opaque wash; it exhibits myriad shades of green with subtle sparkle. The Fire Polish Glass beads are faceted by machine, then placed in a hot oven (or over open flame) to soften and polish the edges, creating beads with a soft glow and each with a slightly different shape. The Czech Glass is highlighted by Handmade Stamped Sterling Beads, including ”Navajo Pearls” by accomplished Native American artist Larry Pinto. The Necklace is finished with a Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp, and adorned with a Sterling Silver Gecko Charm, a lizard native to the US Southwest that symbolizes self-preservation and re-growth. This piece weighs 50 grams and is 20-1/2 inches long. The Cross Pendant is 2” long by 1-5/8” wide including a 1/8” bail.
