Two-Stone Royston Turquoise and Sterling Pendant
with Nevada Turquoise, Quartz, Amber & Sterling
This graceful Necklace showcases a Two-Stone Royston Turquoise and Sterling Pendant by Navajo artist Rick Martinez. The Stones are blue-green with light-brown matrix and are set in raised Bezels encircled by Sterling Silver Balls. The Pendant base has intricate stamping with 13 Sterling Balls spaced around the perimeter and between the Royston Stones. There is a beautiful custom Bail that is stamped to mirror the design in the Pendant. The back of the Pendant shows the artist’s hallmark, “T Martinez,” and is also stamped “Navajo” and “Sterling.” We’ve paired the Pendant with two strands of glossy Nevada Turquoise Ovals. The Turquoise exhibits wonderful hues of blue, green, gold and brown, picking up tones from the Pendant. The Stones are integrated with Crackled Quartz, Amber Chips, and Czech Luster Glass, and highlighted by 11 and 13mm Stamped Sterling Rondelles and 6mm Oxidized Sterling Rounds. The Necklace is Finished with a Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Zuni Bear Sterling Silver Charm; Zuni Bear Fetishes are considered powerful healers and are a symbol of power, strength and introspection. The Necklace weighs 118 grams and is 19-1/2 inches long. The Pendant is 3-3/8” long by 1-1/4” wide including a 7/8” Bail.
