Spiny Oyster Shell and Sterling Silver Concho Pendant
with Red Coral Spikes, Carnelian, Agate & Sterling

This glamorous Necklace showcases a Spiny Oyster Shell and Sterling Silver Concho Pendant by Santa Fe artist Dan Dodson.  The Pendant has a glossy 10mm center Spiny Oyster Shell Stone, surrounded by 18 color-matched 3mm Stones. The piece has beautiful stamping and a custom V-shaped Sterling Bail.  It is marked on the back of the Bail with the artist’s hallmark and “Sterling.”  We’ve paired the Pendant with vibrant Red Coral Spikes graduated in length from 25 to 50mm (about 1-2 inches).  The Coral is highlighted by four 12mm Sterling Silver Rounds, which have an overlay pattern of circles and tiny Sterling balls.  The Coral is interspersed with 8mm Carnelian Rounds and small Silver Leaf Dangles, which add sparkle and whimsy. The Coral Spikes transition to a strand of Carnelian Rounds and Red Agate Barrel Beads, creating a smooth band around the back of the piece. The Necklace is finished with a Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and Sterling “Southwest Designs” Charm.  The piece weighs 195 grams and is 22 inches long.  The Concho Pendant is 2-1/2” tall by 2” wide including a 5/8” Bail.
