Pendant Necklace with Three Strands of Nevada Turquoise Nuggets & Sterling
This beautiful Necklace features a Stamped Sterling Silver Pendant by Navajo artist Daniel “Sunshine” Reeves. Reeves is known for his superb-quality silverwork, including deep hand-stamping in finely detailed traditional patterns, and the inclusion of gem-quality Turquoise and other stones. Our Pendant measures nearly 3 inches in diameter, and has an Oval Turquoise Mountain Stone from a mine in northwestern Arizona (closed in the 1980’s). It has a custom Stamped Bail and the artist’s hallmark on the back: “Sunshine Reeves” and “Sterling.” We’ve combined the Pendant with Three Strands of Nevada Turquoise Nuggets in varied shades of Blue. The Turquoise is interspersed with Tortoise Turquoise Rondelles and 18 Stamped and Oxidized Sterling Silver Rounds. The Necklace is finished with an oversized Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Sterling Kokopelli, a Native American icon that embodies the American Southwest. The piece weighs 145 grams and is 21-1/2 inches long. The Pendant is 3-1/4” by 2-3/4” including a 1/2” bail.
