Turquoise and Sterling Pendant Necklace with
Blue & Green Glass Teardrops, Tsavorite & Sterling
This graceful piece combines a Turquoise & Sterling Pendant with Handmade Lampworked Boro (Borosilicate) Glass Teardrop Beads. The Pendant features a Pale Green Turquoise Stone with delicate Matrix and a smudge of Brown around the edges. The Stone is set in a raised Bezel with Rope Detail and a Crown of Sterling Balls and Scrolls. It has a Custom Bail edged with tiny Balls. The back of the Pendant is stamped “Sterling, Made in Santa Fe,” and the artist’s initials “DEU.” The Pendant pairs beautifully with the Glass Teardrop Beads, which have centers of Turquoise and Pale Green that mirror the Turquoise Stone. We’ve mixed the Teardrops with translucent Green Tsavorite Rounds (Tsavorite is a type of Garnet) and Sterling Silver Teardrop Beads. The Necklace is finished with a Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Sterling Silver Gecko Charm, a lizard native to the US Southwest that symbolizes self-preservation and re-growth. The Necklace weighs 92 grams and is 19-3/4 inches long. The Pendant is 2-1/2” tall by 1” wide including a 1/2” bail.
