Turquoise and Sterling Heart Pendant with
Boulder Turquoise (NV), Czech Glass and Sterling
This pretty piece features a Turquoise and Sterling Heart Pendant by Santa Fe artist Dan Dodson. The Turquoise Stone is a soft eggshell-blue with golden brown Matrix. The Pendant has a lined Sterling Bail and full Sterling back stamped with the artist’s hallmark and “Sterling.” We’ve paired the Pendant with a graduated strand of Boulder Turquoise Ovals, a stone mined in Nevada. Boulder is cut from the Turquoise vein to expose not only the Turquoise but other minerals around it, giving the Stone a wonderful, multi-toned look. The Boulder is paired with blue Turquoise Rounds and silver-tinted Czech Luster Glass in light brown, picking up the Matrix in the Pendant. The Stones are highlighted by 12mm Sterling “Spiral” Bicones and 8mm Bicones and Disc Beads. The piece is finished with a Sterling Toggle Clasp and adorned with a ”Southwest Designs” Sterling Charm. The Necklace weighs 85 grams and is 20-1/2 inches long. The Pendant is 3-1/8” tall by 1-1/2” wide including a 5/8” Bail.
