Uvarovite and Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace
with Turquoise, Aventurine, Pearls & Sterling

Uvarovite is one of the rarer of the Garnet group of minerals, and sought after by collectors for its brilliance and beautiful Emerald-Green color. The Uvarovite & Sterling Pendant featured in this Necklace was designed by Santa Fe artisan David Umpleby, showcasing a Triangular-Shaped Stone and a layered cascade of polished and oxidized Sterling Silver.  The Pendant has a full Sterling Back and is stamped with the artist’s initials “DEU,” as well as “Sterling, Made in Santa Fe.” The Pendant is combined with three strands comprised of Pilot Mountain Turquoise (Nevada), Faceted Chinese Turquoise, Aventurine, Pearls, and Sterling Silver.  The strands are linked at four points by 18 mm Coin-shaped Sterling Silver Beads that have been detailed by stamping and oxidation.  The Necklace is finished with intricate Sterling Silver “Bead Cones” and Toggle Clasp, and a Sterling Silver Kokopelli Charm, a Native American icon that symbolizes the American SouthwestIt weighs 93.6 grams and is 22-1/2 inches long. The Pendant is 1-7/8” long by 1” wide.
