Wild Horse Magnesite Pendant Necklace with Carnelian, Amber & Sterling Silver
Wild Horse is the name for a new type of Magnesite recently discovered near Globe, Arizona. It was named Wild Horse based on its “Pinto Pony” appearance. The eye catching stone -- Reddish Brown with Gold & White Markings -- has been set in a Pendant designed by Santa Fe artisan David Umpleby. The Pendant Bezel has fine Rope Detail that is repeated in Umpleby’s signature Bail, which can be opened from the back. The Pendant has a full Sterling Back and is stamped “Sterling, Made in Santa Fe”, and has the artist’s initials: DEU. We’ve combined the Pendant with vibrant Carnelian, Amber, and Sterling Silver Beads & Findings for pure elegance. The Necklace is adorned with a Sterling Kokopelli Charm, a Native American icon that symbolizes the American Southwest. The piece weighs 136.1 grams, and is 20-1/2” long. The Pendant is 2-3/4” l. x 1-3/8” w. including a 3/4” bail.
