This engaging Necklace features 2 strands of multi-hued Azurite Chip. Azurite is a rare variety of gemstone-quality copper ore, named for its deep "azure blue" color. Our Azurite Chip is graduated, ranging in length from 10-to-20mm. The stones display numerous blue hues, including seafoam blue, turquoise and vivid azure blue. The blue is patterned with areas of chocolate brown, creating an attractive and complex visual display. The squared-off edges of the Azurite Chip provide wonderful structure and design interest. We've paired the Azurite with 4mm blue Apatite Rounds, which add translucency and a pop of color. Other design elements include 5mm light blue and 4mm metallic blue Faceted Glass Rondelles, and 5mm dark brown Pen Shell Heishi. The Rondelles are faceted, giving off an attractive sparkle. The blues and browns work beautifully together and make this a very versatile piece. At the top of the Necklace the 2 strands of Azurite transition to 2 strands of Apatite Rounds, streamlining the silhouette and ensuring wearer comfort. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Rounds and Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 188 grams and the 2 strands are 26-1/2 inches long (when wearing, a vertical length of about 10-1/2 inches).
