This terrific Necklace showcases an 11-Stone Kingman Turquoise and Sterling Silver Pendant by Santa Fe Artist Dan Dodson. The Turquoise is blue-green with golden-brown matrix and has been cut into rounds and teardrops, adding interest to the design. The stones are set on a diamond-shaped plate of Sterling Silver that has been intricately shaped and decorated, with scalloped edges and attractive stamping. The Turquoise is complemented by 12 handcrafted Sterling Silver Conchos, which have been arrayed among the stones. The 3 center Turquoise stones are wrapped in Twisted Sterling Wire, adding more texture. The Pendant drapes from a custom Sterling Bail — also shaped and stamped — and is stamped on the back with the Artist's hallmark and "Sterling." This is and elegant and impressive piece. We've paired the Pendant with 3 strands of 6mm Funky Turquoise Heishi, so named because of the square-cut edges and artistic look. The Turquoise is from Nevada and presents rich blue and green hues with some brown matrix. The Heishi is complemented by eight 6-by-11mm Sterling Silver Box Beads, which have a fish imprint on each side. The Sterling Box Beads are flanked by 3mm translucent green Fire Polished Glass, which are faceted and give off a subtle sparkle. At the top of the Necklace the 3 strands of Turquoise Heishi transition to 3 strands of Fire Polished Glass, streamlining the silhouette and ensuring a comfortable fit. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Rounds and Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 114 grams and is 20-1/2 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 3-1/4 inches by 2 inches including a 5/8-inch Bail (when wearing, a vertical hang length of about 10 inches).
