This terrific Necklace features 2 strands of Dutch Dogon Rings, paired with Lapis Rounds and Sterling Silver. The Rings are made in Mali, Africa, and are formed by wrapping molten glass around a mandrel. Our Dutch Dogons are a vivid cobalt blue and are slightly graduated, ranging from 10 to 16mm in circumference. They are semi-translucent, have gracefully curved edges, and are smooth to the touch. The color is impressive. We've paired the Dutch Dogon Rings with 6mm Lapis Rounds, which are threaded through the Rings’ inside circumference. The Lapis allows the Rings to slide smoothly back and forth and to maintain a uniform profile. The Lapis ranges in hue from cobalt to navy and is polished to a soft sheen. The Dutch Dogon strands are capped by 11-by-19mm Sterling Silver Urn Beads, which are attractively shaped and stamped. The Urn Beads provide a transition from the Rings to 3.5mm indigo blue Miyuki Glass Rondelles, which finish the top of the Necklace. The Rondelles streamline the silhouette of the Necklace and ensure a comfortable fit. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Rounds and Hammered Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 160 grams and the 2 Necklace strands are each 22-1/4 inches long.
