This distinctive Necklace features a 3-Stone Hachita Turquoise and Sterling Silver Pendant by Nevada Silversmith Jim Daggett. Hachita is from a group of mines near Old Hachita, Grant County, New Mexico; it is believed the Turquoise was first mined by ancestral pueblo people, then re-discovered by prospectors in the 1880's when led to the area by Native Americans. Our three Stones are medium-blue in color with golden-brown matrix, and are set in raised bezels on three discs of Reticulated Sterling Silver, which have been heated to high temperature to create texture and pattern. The Silver Discs have been fused together and embellished by handcrafted Copper Balls. The perimeter of the Pendant has been decoratively notched, adding further design detail. We’ve paired the Pendant with 3 strands of glossy-blue Turquoise Diamonds and Rounds, and 6-by-8mm Czech Glass Ovals that are turquoise-colored with golden-brown overlay, mirroring the Hachita Stones. The Turquoise is highlighted by 7mm Stamped Sterling Silver Rounds and 6mm Copper Bicones. The Necklace is finished with 1-3/4-inch curved Sterling Cones, a Stamped Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp, and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 86 grams and is 20 inches long, plus the Pendant, which is 2 inches by 2 inches with a 5/8-inch bail.
