This eye-catching Necklace displays a 3-Stone Pendant by Nevada Silversmith Jim Daggett. Two of the Pendant Stones are Turquoise, vivid blue in color with black spiderweb matrix. One of the Turquoise Stones has silvery traces, which contrast nicely with the rich blue & black tones. The 3rd Stone is Indonesian Palm Wood, which is petrified tropical hardwood from Indonesia. The Stone is a rich satin black, and has been polished to a soft sheen. The 3 Stones are set in raised Sterling Silver Bezels and arrayed on polished Sterling Silver Plate. The Sterling Plate has several openings, making the Stones more prominent. The Pendant has a custom Bail, fashioned to let the piece move freely. It is stamped on the back with the artist's hallmark and "Sterling." We've paired the Pedant with 2 strands of 8mm New Mexico Black Jet Rounds. Jet is a type of lignite, a precursor to coal, and is a gemstone. Jet is not a mineral, but rather a mineraloid, as it is a product of high-pressure decomposition of wood from millions of years. Our Jet was mined in Acoma, New Mexico. The Jet Rounds have a smooth silky finish that mirrors the Indonesian Palm Wood Pendant Stone. The Jet is interspersed with 6-by-12mm Turquoise Barrel Beads, color matched to the Turquoise in the Pendant. The Stones are highlighted by 9-by-13mm Sterling Silver Cylinder Beads, which have oxidized fish symbol markings. At the top of the Necklace the 2 strands of Black Jet transition to 6mm Oxidized Sterling Rounds, streamlining the silhouette and ensuring wearer comfort. The Necklace has a Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp with Ball Rim and is adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. Wear this Necklace with its matching New Mexico Black Jet, Turquoise & Sterling 2-Strand Bracelet for double the impact. The piece weighs 106 grams and is 19 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 2-7/8 inches by 2-3/8 inches including the 1/2-inch Bail.
