This striking Necklace showcases a 44mm Sterling and Copper Pendant by Nevada Silversmith Jim Daggett. The Pendant is two-sided; one side features a Sterling Silver Gecko with five Copper Grommets, and the reverse side displays a Sterling Lighthouse scene. Each image is overlaid on a dome of Polished Copper, which contrasts beautifully with the Sterling. The Pendant Bail is crafted from 20mm Sterling Silver Wire, which runs through the center of the piece and is capped at each end with a 4mm Stamped Sterling Faceted Round. A wonderful conversation piece. We've paired the Pendant with two strands of hand-cut Hessonite Garnet Nuggets, a translucent cognac-colored Stone. The Garnet is interspersed with topaz-colored Czech Luster Glass, and highlighted by four handcrafted 18-20mm Sterling & Copper Beads, Sterling Rondelles and Rounds, and Copper Drum Beads. At the top of the Necklace the 2 strands of Hessonite Garnet transition to 2 strands of Czech Glass and Vintage Crackle Glass. The Necklace is finished with an oversized Hammered Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Sterling Kokopelli Charm, an icon that embodies the American Southwest. The piece weighs 189 grams, and is 23 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 44mm in diameter (approximately 1-3/4 inches).
