This terrific Necklace features a 7-Stone Art Pendant by Nevada Silversmith Jim Daggett. The primary stone is a 36x39mm triangular Sonora Sunset cabochon, fiery coral-red in color with trace black and green matrix. The Stone has been set in a raised Bezel and is surrounded on 2 sides by 6 Turquoise Cabochons cut into squares and rounds. The Turquoise is a glossy sky-blue with black matrix. The left side of the Pendant has linear etching; the Sterling Silver plate has been cut in an organic shape to enclose all 7 stones. The Pendant is stamped on the back with the artist’s hallmark and “Sterling.” We’ve paired the Pendant with 8 strands of cylinder-shaped coral colored Antique Pote Beads, handcrafted by Nepalese artisans. The Pote Beads are interspersed with Turquoise Rounds and Heishi, and Picasso Turquoise Glass Rondelles, mirroring the tones in the Pendant. The beads are highlighted by 3mm and 8mm Stamped Sterling Rounds, which add subtle sparkle to the piece. The Pote Bead cylinders transition to Pote rondelles at the top of the Necklace, adding design interest. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver “Striped” Cones and Sterling Toggle Clasp, and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 78 grams and is 20-1/2 inches long, plus the Pendant. The Pendant is 3 inches tall by 1-3/8 inches wide including the 5/8-inch Bail.
