This uncommon Necklace showcases Antique Hebron Glass Beads in muted shades of blue and green. "Hebron Glass" refers to glass produced in Hebron as part of a flourishing art industry established in the city during Roman rule. The Glass is still produced today in the city's Glass Blower Quarter; our Hebron Glass is estimated to be over 200 years old. The Beads range in size from 12 to 22mm in diameter and are in excellent condition. We've matched the Hebron Glass with 22mm deep red Jade Rounds,12mm red Etched Agate Rounds, bright blue Turquoise Briolette, and 20mm Kazuri Bicones & Discs. Kazuri Beads are handmade by local craftspeople at a small ceramic workshop in Kenya. The Stones are highlighted by six Sterling Silver Urn Beads, ranging in diameter from 12 to 18mm. At the top of the Necklace the Hebron Glass transitions to two strands of 6mm Carnelian Rounds, adding another dash of color and ensuring a comfortable fit. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Cones and an oversized Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp, and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 214 grams and is 26 inches long.
