This gorgeous Necklace showcases Milky Way Turquoise from the Milky Way Mine in Lincoln County, Nevada. The Mine is no longer active, making this a collectible stone. Our 3 strands of Milky Way have been Box Cut, a challenging cut that produces a distinctive look. It also reveals the complexities of the Turquoise; colors range from light-to-medium blue and green with black, spiderweb matrix. The individual Stones range in size from 8-by-10mm to 12-by-18mm. Truly beautiful. We've paired the Milky Way Turquoise with 3mm Olive Shell Heishi, placing several discs between each Turquoise Stone. The Shell Heishi increase the flexibility of the Necklace, while adding design interest. The Turquoise is highlighted by two 8-by-16mm Sterling Silver Cone Beads and four 8-by-21 Cylinder Beads. The Sterling Beads are attractively designed and embellished, and add subtle shine. At the top of the Necklace the 3 strands of Milky Way Turquoise transition to Olive Shell Heishi, streamlining the silhouette and ensuring a comfortable fit.
