This elegant Necklace displays an Indonesian Palm Wood and Sterling Silver Pendant by Nevada Silversmith Jim Daggett. Palm Wood is a petrified tropical hardwood from Indonesia, and our stone is a striking combination of rich black and ivory. The Palm Wood is shaped into an oval and polished to a soft sheen. The stone is encircled by a raised Sterling Silver Bezel and set on a plate of Sterling Silver that has been attractively stamped. The Pendant drapes from a v-shaped custom Bail which has been stamped in a similar fashion. The piece is stamped on the back with the artist's hallmark and "Sterling." We've paired the Pendant with 2 strands of Hypersthene Ovals in complementary near-black. The Hypersthene is 9-by-13mm with a glossy finish and a slight iridescent silvery sheen. The Hypersthene is combined with 2mm and 4mm Vintage Czechoslovakian Nailheads, and 4mm Pyrite Nuggets. These elements are faceted and emit a subtle sparkle. The stones are highlighted by six 11mm Sterling Silver Rondelles, which are intricately stamped and beautifully crafted. At the top of the Necklace the 2 strands of Hypersthene transition to 2 strands of Czechoslovakian Nailheads, streamlining the silhouette and ensuring a comfortable fit. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Rounds and Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 116 grams and is 20-3/4 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 2-3/4 inches by 1-5/8 inches including the 1/2-inch Bail (when wearing, a vertical hang length of about 9 inches).
