This graceful Necklace features a Kingman Turquoise and Sterling Silver Pendant by Nevada Silversmith Jim Daggett. The large Turquoise Stone — from the Kingman (Mineral Park) mine in northwest Arizona — is rich blue with undertones of green and traces of golden-brown matrix. It is set in a raised Sterling Silver Bezel and wrapped with sparkling Sterling Bead Wire, then affixed to an oval of polished Sterling Silver. The Pendant has a v-shaped polished Sterling Bail. The piece is stamped on the back with the artist's hallmark and "Sterling." We've paired the Kingman Turquoise Pendant with 3 strands of color-matched gemstones, including two strands of 4-by-13mm Turquoise Cylinders and a strand of 3mm Turquoise Heishi. The Turquoise is combined with turquoise-colored faceted Czech Glass Ovals, 3mm Stamped Sterling Beads, silver-green Fire Polished Glass, and 4-by-12mm Ornate Sterling Silver Cylinders. The materials have a wonderful synergy, and the Sterling Silver components emit a subtle shine. At the top of the Necklace the Turquoise transitions to dark brown Pen Shell Heishi, allowing the 3 strands to mesh closely together. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Cones and Toggle Clasp, and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 74 grams and is 20 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 3 inches by 1-1/2 inches including the 1/2-inch Bail.
