This uncommon Necklace showcases a Prong-Set Kingman Turquoise Nugget and Fused Sterling Pendant by Nevada silversmith Jim Daggett. The Kingman stone – from the Mineral Park Mine near Kingman, AZ – is a smooth rounded Nugget that is triangular in shape (1” x 7/8”) and is a striking blue with golden-brown matrix. It has been prong-set on Fused Sterling Silver that mirrors the Nugget’s shape with great artistry. The Pendant is hung from a custom Sterling Silver Bail that allows the piece to swing freely. The artist has etched his initials and “2014” on the back side of the Fused Sterling. We’ve joined the Pendant with 6 strands of 5mm Turquoise Rondelles that are color-matched to the Nugget. The Turquoise is paired with 4mm golden brown Bone Beads, and amber Czech Luster Glass. The Stones are highlighted by 9mm Ornate Sterling Silver Cylinders, which mirror the Pendant’s Sterling. The Turquoise transitions to 3 strands of 4mm Bronzite Rounds, a glossy brown stone with metallic flecks. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Cones and Toggle Clasp, and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 121 grams and is 20 inches long, plus the Pendant, which measures 3 inches by 2-1/4 inches including the 7/8-inch Bail.
