This elegant No. 8 Turquoise and Sterling Silver Band Ring was crafted by Nevada Silversmith Jim Daggett. No. 8 Turquoise varies from light blue to dark blue, with a black, golden, red or brown matrix. The No. 8 Turquoise mine is located in the Lynn Mining District in Eureka County, Nevada, and was first mined in 1929. The mine was depleted in 1976, though No. 8 is still available through private holdings. No. 8 Turquoise is considered a collector's item; high-grade No. 8 is some of the finest Turquoise ever mined in Nevada. Our striking stone has a bright powder blue background and golden brown matrix. The cabochon is approximately 1-1/4-inches by 3/8-inch, and is wrapped in a Sterling Silver Bezel, which is then wrapped in 10 gauge Sterling Silver Bead Wire. The Stone is set on an Oval Sterling Silver Plate, which is attached to an adjustable Sterling Band. The inside of the band is etched with the artist's name, "Daggett." The Ring weighs 24 grams and is adjustable from size 7 to size 9+.
