This terrific Necklace showcases Pilot Mountain Turquoise Nuggets, woven into a 3-strand Twist. The Pilot Mountain Mine is located in northwest Nevada, just east of the Town of Mina. The Turquoise is valued for its rich colors and patterns. Our stones are approximately 7-by-12mm in dimension and are fern green with golden brown matrix. The Twist has been formed by separately spinning each strand, then securing them together with looped head pins. This ensures a beautiful design that will stand the test of time. The Turquoise has been ornamented with 6mm amber Czech Glass Rondelles, 4mm peridot-hued Fire Polished Glass Ovals, 2mm light green TOHO Seed Beads, and 1mm bronze Seed Beads. These elements add color depth and sparkle to the design. At the top of the Necklace the Pilot Mountain Turquoise transitions to TOHO Seed Beads, which are encased in Sterling Silver Cones. The Necklace is finished with a Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 79 grams and the Necklace is 19-3/4 inches long.
