This appealing Necklace showcases a Royston Ribbon Turquoise and Sterling Silver Pendant by Santa Fe artist Dan Dodson. The Royston Ribbon Stone — from the Royston mining district north of Tonopah, Nevada — displays a characteristic bright blue "Ribbon" of Turquoise, set against a backdrop of caramel and golden brown. The Stone is set in a raised Bezel wrapped with twisted Sterling Rope, and decorated with handcrafted Sterling Stars. It hangs from a custom Bail stamped with a linear design. The back of the Pendant is a solid plate of Sterling Silver, stamped with the artist's hallmark and "Sterling." We've paired the Pendant with color-matched Brazilian Jasper Rondelles, which are 15mm in diameter. The Jasper exhibits the same bright blue and golden tones, though the blue is dominant. Each Jasper Stone is separated by a disc of 5mm amber Horn Bead, adding color depth and flexibility to the piece. The Stones are highlighted by Hill Tribe Silver 11mm Stamped Rounds, which radiate a subtle shine. At the top of the Necklace the Brazilian Jasper transitions to 2 strands of Amber Horn Beads, streamlining the profile. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Rounds and Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 108 grams and is 21-3/4 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 7/8 inches wide by 2-1/2 inches long including the 1/2-inch Bail.
