This impressive Necklace showcases 5 Sonora Sunset and Sterling Silver Pendants crafted by Nevada Silversmith Jim Daggett. Sonora Sunset is comprised of a rare mix of Chrysocolla, Cuprite, and Iron; the stone was discovered in 2008 in the Millpillas Mine located in Sonora, Mexico. The 5 Sonora Sunset stones are carefully cut to display the gemstone's range of colors, including vibrant red, soft green and black. The largest center pendant is 2-1/8-inches long by 5/8-inches wide, and the smallest 2 pendants are 1-1/4 inches by 5/8-inches. Each stone is set in a raised Sterling Silver Bezel on Sterling Silver plate, and integrated with a 9.5mm Cylinder Bail. The Pendants are separated by 6 Cylinder Spacers, which are also 9.5mm in diameter. The back of the center Pendant is stamped with the artist's hallmark. The Pendants and Spacers are arrayed on a 5mm, 21-inch long mixed metal Snake Chain, which is polished to a sheen. The Chain has a hook clasp and is adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 128 grams.
