This elegant Necklace features a Sterling Silver Bear Pendant by Navajo artist Richard Singer. The Pendant is beautifully crafted, displaying traditional Navajo designs that have been oxidized for greater visibility. The Pendant is box construction and is 1/4-inch thick, giving the piece a substantial feel. It hangs from a custom Bail that is stamped on the back with the artist's hallmark and "Sterling." The piece is in excellent condition. We've paired the Bear Pendant with three strands of 8mm Kingman Turquoise Rondelles from the Kingman (Mineral Park) mine in northwest Arizona. The Turquoise is glossy and beautifully cut, and displays a mixture of blues, greens and golden brown tones. Each Stone is separated from the next with a small disc of brown Pen Shell Heishi, creating visual depth and increasing the Necklace's flexibility. The Turquoise is highlighted by 4mm light-green Czech Glass Coin Beads, 10mm Hammered Sterling Silver Rings, and 13mm Sterling Spiral Bicones. At the top of the Necklace the Turquoise Rondelles transition to Pen Shell Heishi, streamlining the profile for improved wearer comfort. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Cones and Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 142 grams and is 22-1/2 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 2-1/2 inches wide by 2-3/4 inches tall including the Bail.
