This engaging Necklace features a Copper & Sterling Silver Gecko Pendant by Nevada Silversmith Jim Daggett. The base of the Pendant is Sterling Silver Sheet, which has been hammered to create a subtle texture. A Gecko figure was then cut into Copper sheet, and the Copper soldered over the Sterling, allow the texture to shine through. The interplay of the two metals and the shiny and rough surfaces is eye-catching. We've paired the Gecko Pendant with 4 strands of golden-brown Freshwater Pearls. The Pearls are 3mm in diameter and have a glossy finish which affords them their own "metallic" hue. The golden color pairs beautifully with the Copper and Sterling. The Pendant has a Sterling Jump Ring Bail, and on either side of the Ring are 6mm Sterling Rounds and 6-by-9mm Ornate Sterling Spacers. The Spacers are embellished with hearts and have subtle texturing and oxidation. At the top of the Necklace the 4 strands of Pearls are gathered into 6mm Sterling Silver Rounds. The Necklace is finished with a Hammered Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 52 grams and is 21 inches long plus the Gecko Pendant, which is 1-3/4 inches wide by 1-3/8 inches tall.
