This eye-catching Necklace presents a Sterling Silver Kokopelli Pendant, resplendent with an oval Turquoise Stone. According to Navajo legend, Kokopelli is revered as a God of harvest and plenty, as well as a bearer of good luck. Our Kokopelli plays on a flute, wears a headdress of feathers, and is adorned in a cloak detailed with geometric patterns. The Turquoise Stone is a soft turquoise-green with spiderweb patterns and a bit of golden brown matrix. It adds elegance and style to the Pendant design.
We've paired the Kokopelli with 5 strands of vivacious Bamboo Coral Rounds. The 4mm Coral is vibrant in color and polished to a lustrous sheen. The Coral is accented by a number of complementary elements, including blue and green 5mm Turquoise Faceted Rounds and 8mm Turquoise Funky Heishi (called "funky" because of the irregular squared-off cut), 4mm Picasso Turquoise Glass Rondelles, 3mm, 4mm & 6mm peridot and translucent green Fire Polished Glass, and 4mm Matubo Aquamarine Crystal. The collection of gemstones, glass and crystal mirror the green hue of the Pendant Stone and add attractive color, sparkle and translucency to the design. The Coral is highlighted by six 8mm Sterling Silver Bicones, which shine in reflected light. At the top of the Necklace the 5 strands of Bamboo Coral transition to Fire Polished Glass topped by Sterling Silver Cones, streamlining the silhouette and ensuring a comfortable fit. The Necklace is finished with a Hammered Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 79 grams and is 20-1/2 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 2-3/8 inches by 1-1/2 inches (when wearing, a vertical length of about 10 inches).
