This outstanding Necklace showcases a Turquoise and Sterling Silver Pendant by acclaimed Navajo Jewelry artist Albert Jake. The Pendant features 4 color-matched Oval Turquoise Stones, each displaying multiple green hues with traces of brown matrix. The stones are wrapped in raised Sterling Silver Bezel and soldered to Sterling Silver Plate that has been intricately shaped and stamped. The perimeter of the Pendant has graceful scalloped edges, while the stamping follows the contours of both the scallops and the Stones. The silverwork is impressive. The Pendant drapes from a V-shaped Sterling Silver Bail with linear etching. It is stamped on the back with Jake's hallmark ("A. Jake") and "Sterling."
We've paired the Pendant with 3 strands of Turquoise Nuggets. The oval-shaped Nuggets are approximately 8-by-11mm and display a variety of green hues consistent with the Pendant Stones. The Turquoise is complemented by 2-and-3mm Smoky Quartz Rounds and 4mm gray-green Czech Fire Polished Glass Faceted Ovals, adding translucency and subtle sparkle. At the top of the Necklace the Turquoise transitions to Smoky Quartz Rounds, streamlining the silhouette and ensuring a comfortable fit. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Rounds and Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm.
