This terrific Necklace showcases a Kingman Turquoise and Sterling Silver Pendant by Nevada Silversmith Jim Daggett. The Turquoise stone is from the Mineral Park (Kingman) mine near Kingman, AZ, and is vivid blue with traces of gray matrix. It has been sculpted into a long oval and set on Sterling Silver Plate that has been shaped with attractive curves, then stamped with a linear radius pattern. The organic shape of the Pendant is a wonderful contrast to the symmetrical Turquoise stone. The piece hangs from a custom Bail that also has linear stamping. It is stamped on the back with the artist's hallmark and "Sterling." We've paired this great Pendant with 2 strands of 11mm Turquoise Diamonds, color-matched to the Kingman stone. The Diamond cut is uncommon, and adds great character and appeal. The Turquoise is paired with 3mm translucent gray Fire Polished Glass Rondelles, which are faceted and give off a subtle sparkle. The stones are highlighted by 6mm Sterling Silver Stamped Rondelles, and Silver Seed Beads. At the top of the Necklace the 2 strands of Turquoise Diamonds transition to 2 strands of 4mm Fire Polished Glass, streamlining the silhouette and ensuring wearer comfort. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Rounds and Toggle Clasp, and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 86 grams and is 18-1/2 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 3 inches tall by 1-1/8 inches wide including the 5/8-inch Bail (when wearing, a vertical hang length of about 8 inches).
