This terrific Necklace showcases a Sterling Silver Pendant by Gallup, NM Navajo artist Roscoe Scott. The Pendant has been stamped with traditional Navajo symbols — including a prominent Arrow which signifies Protection — then oxidized to bring the patterns into high relief. It is formed as a rectangle with rounded edges and a refined convex curvature. The Pendant drapes from a custom V-shaped Sterling Silver Bail which has been stamped in the shape of a Diamond. The Pendant is marked on the back with "Roscoe Scott" and "Sterling." This is a go-to piece of Jewelry with great visual appeal.
We've matched the Pendant with 2 strands of Matte Onyx Star Cut Rounds, which are 6.5mm in dimension. The matte finish and faceted cut contrast nicely with the smooth, shining surface of the Pendant. The Onyx is paired with twelve 8mm Oxidized Sterling Silver Rounds — also known as Navajo Pearls — along with 4mm silver Czech Faceted Bicones and 4mm black Crystal Faceted Rondelles. These elements add design interest and subtle sparkle. At the top of the Necklace the Onyx Star Cut Rounds transition to silver & black Czech Glass, streamlining the silhouette and ensuring a comfortable fit. The Necklace is finished with a Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 82 grams and is 23 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 2-3/4" by 2-1/2" including the 1/2" Bail.
