This engaging Necklace features a Sterling Silver Fish Pendant with 5 Strands of Blue Fire Agate, Lapis and Sterling. The Sterling Fish has 7 reticulated components, allowing it to bend front to back and side to side. The Fish's Head displays an open mouth and eyes of Iridescent Opal, which flash in reflected light. Each of the 5 body sections is artistically stamped to represent scales. The tail is attractively curved & stamped and marked "925," indicating the Fish is 925 Sterling Silver. Six of the Fish sections have pass-through knobby Sterling Rods, perhaps implying spines. This piece has great charisma and visual appeal.
We've paired the Sterling Fish with 5 strands of Blue Fire Agate and Lapis Lazuli Rounds, in 4mm and 6mm dimensions. The Fire Agate displays a range of blues, from navy to light lavender. The gemstones are ornamented by six Sterling Silver Navajo Pearls handcrafted by Navajo artist Larry Pinto. The Beads are 9mm in diameter and have attractive oxidized detailing. At the top of the Necklace the 5 strands of Fire Agate & Lapis transition to 5 strands of sparkling 3mm translucent gray Fire Polished Glass Ovals, streamlining the silhouette and ensuring a comfortable fit. The Necklace is finished with a Hammered Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp, and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 116 grams and is 24-1/4 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 3-1/4 inches by 1-1/4 inches including the 1/2-inch Bail (when wearing, a vertical length of about 12 inches).
